The children's game of Pooh sticks is set to become a recognized sport at Cambridge University.
The game in which sticks are dropped from a bridge and watched to see which gets downstream first, was made famous in A.A. Milne's Winnie The Pooh.
Now the University's sports federation has been asked to recognize the sport and award quarter-blues. It is hoped that Cambridge will eventually take on arch-rivals Oxford in a match.
