Dear Mr Barritt
Thank you for your letter of 1Oth March 2000 regarding our Queen Mary tea, and it's packaging format.
Firstly, please accept my apologies for not writing to you sooner, but I have been away from my desk for longer than I expected.
I have now arranged for Queen Mary tea to be sold in a caddy refill packet. The price of this will be lower than that of the tin, so that you can once again enjoy this tea at your meetings. I trust that you will refill your previous tin, as the tea will keep better in an air tight container, such as the tea tin.
Please do not place your order with us until after Easter, as it will take a short while to get the product into the shop.
I am sure that you would now consider this matter resolved, and so I will decline your kind invitation to attend one of your meetings to discuss it further. Thank you for this offer.
Thank you again for your letter.
Yours sincerely
