Minutes of an Extrodinary meeting of the Pembroke College Winnie the Pooh Society held in the basement of T staircase.at 12.10 on Saturday 23/11/96

Present Ben, Andrew

1. Ben resolved not to say Bahnhof during the meeting- Oh Shit.
   


2. Motion: The reading of the minutes of the last two meetings should be delayed until the elevenses meeting this afternoon. F:1 A:0 Abs 1 Motion carried.
   


3. The purpose of this meeting is to decide the protocol for a poohsoc trial.
   


4. Andrew says he will vote in favour of any motions for the duration of this meeting- ÒA blanket I agreeÓ, and agrees to allow Ben to pass any motions he likes.
   


5. Andrew is tired and very hungry, so he leaves the meeting.
   


6. Note the meeting is still quorate as 10% of the membership(Ben) is still present.
   


7. By precedent, the James should be the Judge at any Poohsoc trials. He should wear a ceramonial hat of some kind, preferably a green cap
   


8. Also by precedent, there shall be a jury, consisting of members of poohsoc as the members appoint. There shall also be a prosecutor, preferably someone with a grudge against the accused.
   


9. Also by precedent, the defendant shall be allowed to represent himself, or choose legal representation. If no such representation is appointed, the James shall appoint one.
   


10. Motion: Sentencing is entirely up to the discretion of the James. However, anyone will have the right to appeal against the verdict, which can be done by majority vote at a meeting comprising of not less than one third of the membership. F:1 A:0 Abs:1 Motion carried.
    


11. While I have complete power to pass any motions, thanks to Andrew, I hereby decree that Ben be allowed to say Bahnhof as often as he likes during meetings, and that any punishment imposed for previous abuses should be rescinded. Motion: F:1 A:0 Abs:1. Motion carried.
    


12. Motion: That Andrew should be made to wear a flourescent pink tutu for all elevenses meetings of poohsoc. F:1 A.0 Abs:1. Motion carried.
    


13. Motion: That the members discuss redrafting the constitution to stop silly meetings like this taking place. F:1 A:0 Abs:1 Motion carried.
    


14. Vote to close. F:1 A:0 Abs:1
    Next meeting in U9, 4pm, as agreed.
